? The steel wire rope must be fixed on the drum reliably, easy to check, assemble and disassemble, to avoid excessive bending of the steel wire rope at the fixed place. At present, there are three commonly used fixing methods:
1, fixed with a pressure plate
This method (as shown in Figure a) has the advantages of simple structure, convenient assembly and disassembly, convenient observation and inspection, reliability, and is commonly used at present. When it is used for multi-layer winding, the form as shown in Figure b is generally adopted, and the end of the wire rope is fixed on the flange on one side of the drum group with a press plate and a bolt, which reduces the occupied space and is conducive to winding.
2. Secure with long slats
A perforation for fixing the tail of the steel wire rope is provided on the barrel body of the casting drum group. A convex head slat is installed in the hole, and a longitudinal rope groove is provided under the slat. The slat is pressed tightly with screws. This method can shorten the drum, but the drum structure is complicated.
3. Secure with a wedge
The wire rope is wrapped around the wedge and loaded into the wedge hole of the drum together with the wedge, and is wedged tight under the action of the wire rope tension. The slope of the wedge is generally 1:4 to 1:5 to meet the self-locking conditions. The construction of this method is complex and not easy to replace the wire rope, but it can be used for multi-layer winding.
It should be noted that when the wire rope is wound in and out of the drum, it is usually skewed, and the skew Angle cannot be too large, otherwise the wire rope will scratch the side of the rope groove or the side of the wire rope and cause the wire rope abrasion or rope groove damage, even job-hopping phenomenon; Smooth coil will make the wire rope can not be evenly arranged and produce chaos.
